Do you have photographs of an event you think others should see?  Send your hazard event photographs to us, with details of what the photograph shows, when and where it was taken and we'll try to include it with the Emergency Event Photos on this page.  You can either e-mail it from your phone to gim@hbrc.govt.nz or download your mobile or camera pictures to a computer and send them to us at the same e-mail.

July 2007 Flood Event

The flood event in Hawke's Bay on 17/18 July 2007 caused damage to roads and some houses as shown in the photos below.

2006 Snowfall Event

The snow storm between 22-24 June 2006 plunged Hawke's Bay into whiteout conditions, forcing wide-spread road closures and some motorists stranded as shown in the photos below.
